This was a great activity for the students to practice identifying the main idea and ket details of a nonfiction text!
I only used the nonfiction texts since we were working on RI.4.2 with main idea and summarizing. I think that the practice with boxes and bullets really made the concept of finding the main idea a lot easier for my students.
