A great project that enables students to create profiles for different composers, as assigned by the teacher.
Activities include:
• Reading
• Research
• Organizing Information Into Four Topics
• Sharing Results With The Class
This system does not provide composer information. This can be easily provided by the teacher via books, articles, handouts, internet websites, and so on. The system provides a way to create, organize and present the finished product in front of the class.
I have used this project very successfully with students in grades 4-8. As you move up into the higher grades, the source materials you provide will have to change in depth, in order to accommodate the age difference.
The download is a PDF file, containing four pages:
• Title Page
• Teacher Guide
• Student Guide
• Student Chart
