Use this digital escape room to engage your students in MLA Citations, MLA Formatting, and plagiarism. In this activity, your students will brush up on plagiarism, research skills, and research writing. Have your students practice and test their citation skills with this Digital Escape!

In this digital escape room, your students will be challenged to stop Mr. Mad Hacker from installing a virus that will wipe out the nation’s economy. Your students will be challenged with 7 activities that include proper formatting of an MLA citation, plagiarism, works cited questions, good researching skills, as well as a jigsaw puzzle, codes, and a hidden picture!

PLEASE TEST GOOGLE SITES and THESE WEBSITES ON YOUR SCHOOL COMPUTERS FIRST. TRY THIS TEST SITE.

1. MAKE SURE YOUR DISTRICT DOES NOT BLOCK YOU FROM USING JIGSAWPLANET.COM, EDPUZZLE, PROPROFS, or YOUTUBE. THERE MAY BE A LINK TO THESE SITES IN THE ESCAPE ROOM.

2. Also, please make sure your district DOES NOT BLOCK OUTSIDE GOOGLE SITES. I would check with your IT department.

3. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE if this site is not working in your school. This is probably due to firewalls and sites your school district is blocking. I cannot control these issues.
