MATH Problem Solving Graphic Organizers - CCSS Constructed Response Math Tasks

Students struggle when they are presented with a story problem. Whether it is a multi-step problem or a more straightforward situation, using one of these graphic organizers to record their thinking will help students be more successful.

Use these graphic organizers to support students as they improve their problem solving skills. ***I have found these to be especially helpful with my Special Education students. Having a structured way to approach problems gives them a starting point and helps to build their confidence.***

This kit includes FIVE different graphic organizers that can be used by students to organize their math problem solving processes. Each organizer requires students to identify the relevant given information, show their work, explain their strategy, and answer the question in a complete sentence. Each organizer comes with a blank copy as well as a guide for the teacher that gives insights into how a student might use each format.
