TWO WAYs TO USE THE ANCHOR CHARTS:

1. The PDF makes copying the anchor charts easy and it means having a hard copy to
distribute to students or place on a bulletin board, etc...

2. Google slides add convenience to a classroom integrating digital technology or those using
distance learning.

I really wanted to create a reference resource for students to take home with them, or view from home, when a new standard has been introduced or a standard already taught needs to be practiced or reviewed. Some students do better when presented with a visual model.

The PDF and digital Google slides also come in handy when a student has been absent from school. It gives the student an idea about the standard(s) he or she may have missed.

I am also aware many parents appreciate a visual of what is being taught in the classroom when their child is having a problem with classwork or homework and the parent is trying to help their child.

These charts are not meant to be lessons on the standard, but simply a handy reference tool.

Google Drive is an excellent resource that can be used in 1:1 classrooms. This Google Drive resource is perfect for Google Classroom, and other educational technology that is compatible with Google Drive. I have included directions in the PDF version of the anchor charts.

That means this resource is paperless, although you can still print any of the pages at any time! Going paperless means you do not need copies for digital resources since students work directly in the Google Drive files! There is easy storage of files, and students can work anywhere they have access to Google Drive. Most importantly to busy teachers with limited time, this resource requires no prep!
