This resource includes 12 short readings about sports written in comprehensible language. The readings include vocabulary supports at the bottom of the page to help your students be successful. The readings are a basic description of each person's favorite sport(s), the equipment they need, and where they play!

This resource includes a scavenger hunt activity in Spanish and English for students to complete. They also read statements about the people's opinions and decide whether those statements are true or false based upon the information they read. Hang the readings around the room and let them walk and read, practicing their comprehension skills!
It also includes a vocabulary writing activity that has students read what a person needs to play, then write the sport they play based on that information, and a section to record information about what each sport needs and where it is played. Lots of great ways to practice!
