Description

As your students learn about the 4 main purposes of local government, provide public safety, public education, manage land use and infrastructure and recreational activities, your students will find a current event about your city's local government fulfilling each one of those purposes. After researching a current event, your students will write a proposal for a project within one of these purposes of local government that they think would benefit your community.
