In this workbook, students learn about Littératie en santé mentale (Mental Health Literacy) aligned with the new 2019 Grade 2 Ontario Health curriculum in FRENCH.
This workbook offers an introduction to mental health and emotions, guiding young learners through understanding and managing their feelings. It explores a range of emotions, from happiness to sadness, anger to love, and fear to surprise, with engaging activities such as emotion journals, mood trackers, and mindfulness exercises. The workbook also emphasizes the importance of supporting others and seeking help when needed.
There is a variety of readings, short answer questions, cut-and-paste activities, and drawing prompts included to create a varied workbook suitable for many learning styles.
To support assessment practices, Ontario curriculum expectations are clearly identified on each page. A unit test is included at the end of the workbook.
