Description
Perfect for book clubs or literature circles. Guided reading forms or worksheets for a variety of different book club or literature circle jobs. Now with grading rubrics! My entire fifth grade team uses these forms!
Each job targets a different Common Core standard: Discussion Director (question development), News Reporter (summarizing), the Gossip (character development), Word Smith (vocabulary development), Travel Agent (research skills), Super Sleuth (research skills), Literary Luminary (inference and synthesis), the Connector (text to text connection), the Illustrator (synthesis and interpretation).
Each page is meant to be cut in half, in order to allow students to paste/staple their work in their Reader's Notebook, and also to conserve paper! The forms are long enough to also be three hole punched and filed away in a binder.
Rubrics are meant to be printed on the backside of the book club job form/worksheet. They are based upon the Standards Based Grading system, but can easily be used within the 4-point, A-F grading scale. These forms and rubrics are great assessment pieces for Reader's Workshop.
