Description

Create a literary magazine on a budget using this step-by-step tutorial and template pack. This resource will teach any advisor or student editor how to design a high-quality publication using the tools in Microsoft PowerPoint. This tutorial is perfect for achieving great results without fancy software!

✅ Edit images with PowerPoint

✅ Adapt your page setup and design

✅ Format your toolbars for ease of access

If you want to start a Literary Magazine at your school or you inherited one, this guide is a great place to start! I created this resource for a colleague without knowledge of or access to InDesign. He isn't a designer, but knew that he wanted his student editor to produce something beyond the basic Word document. I put together this step-by-step guide to help him and his student editor develop a fancy publication in software they already have.

⭐️ You can give this resource directly to your Student Editor. ⭐️

Your Literary Magazine Templates and Tutorials include:

  • Set-Up Guide for PPT - learn how to adapt your toolbars to put the commands you need most right up front.
  • Style Guide for PPT
  • Comments and Considerations - some advice for first-time advisors or editors
  • 10 Page Templates with built-in tutorials for design and photo editing
  • 3 Poster Templates to advertise for submissions
