Each workshop is highly scaffolded with questions, examples, mentor texts, videos, and tools to help students deeply understand elements of plot, conflict, setting, characters, theme, figurative language, etc. Students will use the techniques they learned in the literary workshops to craft their own narratives, analyses, responses, and plot summaries. Writing workshops are also highly scaffolded, teaching students each step of the writing process of each writing type.
