    Description

    This bundle covers ELA 1st QUARTER-The Study Of Literary Elements and Narrative Writing using digital, interactive workshops. Appropriate for the 6th-8th grade CCSS standards band.

    Students will explore a variety of short films, stories, podcasts, and passages, to discover how real writers use literary devices and techniques to craft great narratives. Each workshop is highly scaffolded with questions, examples, mentor texts, videos, and tools to help students deeply understand elements of plot, conflict, setting, characters, theme, figurative language, etc. Students will use the techniques they learned in the literary workshops to craft their own narratives, analyses, responses, and plot summaries. Writing workshops are also highly scaffolded, teaching students each step of the writing process of each writing type.
