Description

This literary themed amusement park project is intended to be completed at the end of a text and has flexible usage. It can be completed independently, in partners, or small groups, and used with a whole class novel study, literature circles, book clubs, or even independent reading.

Use this activity to review plot, setting. theme, conflict, characters, and symbolism in connection with any story, novel, or play. This fun activity makes for a great end of a unit or year project or summer reading assignment. Students will create a poster and give a presentation of their amusement park. The assignment directions are written so that students are creating a physical poster, but you could also have students create a digital poster, or a physical or digital 3-D model of their park. The writing that accompanies the project can be handwritten or typed.

This 2 week project can be printed, used digitally, or a combination of the two. All files are Google Drive resources (Docs, Slides, Forms, etc.) or print ready PDFs.
