What educators are saying

Such a fun exit ticket after a lesson! Students loved to play the game at the end of our geometry math unit
This was a great resource to allow the students to play an interactive game that also assessed their knowledge of lines and angles. We did this before we did a quiz on their learning so it was great review!

Description

This Lines and Angles Memory Match geometry card game is a great way to increase familiarity with types of lines and types of angles. It is played just like the game Concentration.

Students must be able to identify:

  • point
  • ray
  • line segment
  • line
  • parallel lines
  • perpendicular lines
  • intersecting lines
  • acute angle
  • right angle
  • obtuse angle
  • straight angle
  • polygon

To play, students shuffle the cards and then lay them all out face down. On their turn, they flip over two cards. If the cards match (label matches picture) they keep the cards and take another turn. If they don't match, the flip them back over in the same spot. The player with the most matches when all the cards are gone wins!
