Linden Grange Victorian Murder Mystery Scenario Game

Until recently, Sir Theodore Felding lived at Linden Grange, an isolated country manor nestled in heavily wooded hills. This past Tuesday morning, however, the gardener discovered a body near the edge of the woods – that of Sir Theodore Felding himself. He’d been bludgeoned to death by a heavy object, presumably metallic in nature.

The villagers living several miles off were shocked by Sir Theodore’s untimely death. So shocked, in fact, that the police did not begin an investigation until too late. The murderer, thought to be intimately acquainted with the Felding family, slipped quietly away.

Although distraught by his cousin’s death, Lord Anthony Stewart immediately returned to Linden Grange to assist in Sir Theodore’s funeral preparations. Tonight, the members of the household and close friends gather together for the first time since Sir Theodore's Death.

Note: The character biographies in this scenario are fictional. However, clues and evidence are loosely based in Victorian England.
