What educators are saying

incredible resource! My students loved the activity and it was a great way to reinforce their learning.
This resource was great! There was so much to offer, for the different life cycles first graders need to know.

Description

Need teaching materials and visuals for studying life cycles of frogs, chickens, and fish? Here are learning materials that are tailored for grades K-2. There are non-fiction and fiction links for students to glean information, templates to record learned information, plus life cycle sequencing cards in three forms—one for teacher use in color, and two for student use. Also, included are labeling pictures of body parts of a frog, chicken, and fish. You’ll get visuals and directions for examining and follow-up work for the parts of an egg—you’ve just got to do this lesson!

Be sure to take a peek at the preview to see the many pages included. The resource is primarily black and white (except for teaching picture cards) and merely needs printing so you save valuable teacher time. Now life cycles can be easy to teach and fun to learn.

Below you have a list of the various parts of this resource:

► Links via QR Codes for non-fiction and fiction information for each animal—frog, chicken, fish

► Open-ended template for each animal to record new learning

► Sticker-type prompts for labeling or sentence writing on each animal
