Letter to 8th Grade Teacher

Prior to the end of the 7th grade school year, ask students to write an introductory letter about themselves to their 8th grade LA teacher. The document has two copies of the requirements, so it can be printed once for every two students and then cut in half. Students will write three paragraphs total -- one introducing themselves, one talking about their LA strengths/weaknesses, and finally what they want to get out of class next year -- and will be asked to organize and proofread their work before turning it in.
