Description

This checklist helps student make sure they are including all parts of a letter. Students can use this checklist to write a letter to a teacher or friend about a book they have read. I have students glue this checklist in the front cover of their Daily 5 journals so they can refer to it at the end of each week. On Friday, they choose one book from their Independent Reading Log (coming soon in my TPT store). They then write a letter to me about whatever book they have chosen. This helps me hold my students accountable for their read to self time and gives students a chance to practice writing about reading. My students check their work before turning it in using this checklist!
