    Description

How do you teach writing, pacing, art & design all in one week or less? Storyboarding! This bundle is designed for Broadcasting and CTE Media classes to teach students how to format a story into film. So how do students do that? You have choices in this storyboarding unit and a nice little discount by buying this bundle to boot.

First Lesson: the six-word story using Storyboarding. All the standards are addressed in this lesson. Learn writing, grammar, sequencing, filming, editing. And my favorite part of this lesson? Premiere Day! When students/videographers reveal their final video products to the class. It's a great way to get students involved and more importantly, students learn that making a small film is very achievable.

Second Lesson: Storyboarding through the use of film. Students start at the end by finding a scene from their favorite movie and go back to the beginning to storyboard their clip. Students will learn sequencing, beginning script writing and illustration techniques. At the end of this lesson, students share their favorite film clips with the class explaining film angles, editing techniques, etc.

And Just Added!! Broadcast Journalism & CTE Media Task Cards & Checklists. When students are out filming their six-word stories, they can use these checklists to make sure they have all their equipment to film and use the cheat sheets to refer to when filming different shots. A super handy resource that are easy to use & store in a camera bag, pocket, or notepad.

Thank you for purchasing from my store. Your feedback is important and appreciated, so If these lessons work for you, please give a 5⭐ review. TPT will also give you credit for reviews. That's a win win!
