Description
The purpose of this project is to give students an introduction to working with 4 of the most common Vex Robotics sensors in the Vex Cortex platform. The 4 sensors include: bumper / button switch, potentiometer, limit switch, and an optical shaft encoder. Students are given step by step instructions on exactly how to attach each sensor to a pre-built vex clawbot. Then the students practice writing some sample codes which utilize sensors and the sensorvalue function in RobotC programming language. Finally, I give students the complete Vex Clawbot code with the addition of the code for each of the 4 sensors.
