What tenses will students revise and practice in this booklet ?

For each of the following tenses or structures, students will first revise the grammatical rules (Remember and Understand), then practice their understanding with "find the mistakes" tasks (Apply and Analyse) and finally write their own stories with particular instructions (Create).

- present tense

- perfect tense

- imperfect tense

- both near future and simple future tenses

- conditional tense

- hypothesis (all 3 levels)

How to use this resource :

Option 1 : Print this booklet (without the correction pages) and give one to each of your students. You can allow them to complete it in class, for homework or for extra practice independently at home.

Option 2: Organise this booklet into a "class folder" accessible by anyone at anytime in your class. When students are finished with their classwork, then can go grab a page of this "class folder" and complete it independently while other students finish the main task you gave them.

Option 3: I included a "Merit Crd" to motivate students to complete as many tasks as possible, in the order they wish, to get extra practice on tenses by themselves. Once students achieve all 25 stars/stickers/stamps from the Merit Card, reward them with something special (a sweat, an email home, a special meeting with you and the French team, an invite for your next French breakfast, etc.)
