Le Basketball and IEP unit for Ontario Core French Students

This unit on Basketball will allow your IEP students to study the sport in French. They will learn vocabulary and use the vocabulary to complete reading, writing, speaking and listening activities in French. Activities include: vocabulary pages, matching activities, a writing activity using the verb jouer, a word search creation activity. Final assessments include a design your own team jersey activity and a speaking and writing activity about your favourite basketball player. These activities are designed to give your students a chance to work independently and at their own pace. Assessment rubric based on the Overall expectations of the Ontario Curriculum is included.
