Laser-Cut Folding Baskets

Welcome to the Laser-Cut Folding Basket Design Project! Students will dive into laser-cutting technology, merging STEM principles with sustainability. They'll select eco-friendly materials, master CAD for digital designs, and apply geometry to create efficient folding mechanisms. Laser cut projects come in a variety of configerations. We provide a variety of projects that focus on specific materials. Some are designed around a single material and a single main component, others incorperate multiple components, others focus on moving components and we also provide projects that incorperate multiple materials and components. We start with projects that are great for beginners and progress towards projects that challenge the experienced maker.
