Description
I created this kitchen lab jobs and descriptions list so that my students can know exactly what is expected of them when they are in a cooking lab. I usually have 4-5 students per lab and want each student to be doing their job to the best of their ability, so this list was created for that purpose. The jobs are Head Chef, Sous Chef, Equipment Manager, and Cleaning/Sanitizing Manager. Each job has 5-6 job responsibilities/duties they are to do either before, during and/or after lab. There is even a description for a possible 5th person in the lab to have a job. Your administrator/elevator will really like that you have this in your room and your students will always be busy!
I laminate mine and place them on the cabinet or wall of their group kitchens so they can refer to it when needed. This has helped to clarify their kitchen roles and to make sure they are not standing around and making one or two people do all the work.
