Unit 3 of KINDERGARTEN CORE Math Standards is an all inclusive 10 day math unit to address the new CORE math standards. This unit contains a teacher guide for each day, a problem of the day workbook, a guided practice page, a daily spiral designed review page and a unit assessment.
Units 1-4 are designed to be taught in 1st quarter.
Topics covered in this unit are:
-Number 1-10 identification/writing
-Ten Frame
-Counting objects to answers "How Many?"
-Comparing objects in a group to identify greater than/less than
-Decomposing Numbers
-Sorting and Classifying Objects
(K.CC.3, K.CC.4, K.CC.5, K.CC.6, K.OA.1, K.OA.3, K.MD.3)
