Description

This tool can be used to guide Reader's Workshop and Guided Reading Groups. I use it to track my students progress in mastering reading skills to inform my whole group and small group instruction.

This tracker includes 26 kindergarten reading skills, broken down into 6 categories (such as foundational skills, decoding skills, fluency, etc)

The tracker is formatted so that you can monitor if a student has limited master/requires prompting, uses the strategy frequently/approaching mastery, uses the strategy almost always/ has mastered, or does not yet demonstrate at all.

This tracker is intended for kindergarten but could be used in pre-k through 2nd grade with some additions and edits.

If you have suggestions for skills not featured, please leave them in the comments section. Thanks!
