The standards reviewed and practiced within are:

Math (K.CC.A.1, K.CC.A.2, K.CC.A.3, K.CC.B.5, K.CC.C.6, K.CC.C.7, K.MD.A.2, K.MD.B.3, K.OA.A.1, K.OA.A.4, K.OA.A.5, K.G.A.1, K.G.A.2, K.G.A.3, and K.G.B.4) *Counting by 1’s missing number patterns, counting by 10’s to 100 missing numbers patterns, counting and drawing objects in a line or rows (up to 20!), writing numbers from 0-20 for a set of given objects and then coloring to create patterns, counting scattered objects and then rewriting this number (up to 10!), comparing two sets (which set is greater, lesser, or are they equal?), comparing numerals up to 10 to determine which is greater or lesser, comparing measurements and then drawing measurable attributes (which is heavier, lighter, taller, shorter), sorting objects by count, fact practice sheets, adding and subtracting within 10-with spaces to draw out each equation as needed, name the shapes, 2D/3D, color equal length sides, count the sides, and circle the corners, and a Shape Hunt form!

Reading (RL.K.1, RL.K.2, RL.K.3, RL.K.7, RF.K.1d, RF.K.2e, RF.K.3b) *Read original passages aloud with students and they will: retell main events through illustrations, answer questions, and sequence events through illustration, ABC chart in upper and lower case for students to trace, read, and orally practice saying the sounds each letter makes- plus a mixed up sheet for students to be tested with (simply draw a line through each box that the students say correctly. Print out one extra on testing day so that you can use one and privately grade each child with them and the extra the students will read from-if they see you marking off boxes, it can cause anxiety for some, so having their own page to read from always helps. Test until students master each letter!), adding new letters to one-syllable words to create new words, long and short vowel sounds!

Writing (W.K.1, W.K.2, W.K.3) *Drawing and Writing to retell an opinion or preference, to inform or explain something, and to retell events. With these prompt pages, instruct students to complete and then draw a picture of their response to each statement that is given.

Language (L.K.1a, L.K.1.C, L.K.2, L.K.2a, L.K.2b, L.K.5b, L.K.5d) *Capitalization and punctuation practice, understanding, drawing, and forming singular/plural nouns, connecting, writing, and drawing opposites within high frequency verbs and nouns, Let’s get moving! Two pages to read aloud with the students to have them act out and then illustrate what each similar word means (sink, drop, fall, lower) (float, rest, sail, skim) (swim, dive, float, paddle) (fishing, casting, baiting, releasing) (surf, ride, balance, soar), (breathe, inhale, sniff, snort)
