These common core aligned worksheets cover:

Geometry K.G

Analyze, compare, create, and compose shapes.

K.G.4. Analyze and compare two- and three-dimensional shapes, in different sizes and orientations, using informal language to describe their similarities, differences, parts (e.g., number of sides and vertices/“corners”) and other attributes (e.g., having sides of equal length). *20 pages | 10 student worksheet pages and 10 teacher answer sheets*

K.G.5. Model shapes in the world by building shapes from components (e.g., sticks and clay balls) and drawing shapes. *18 pages | 11 student worksheet pages, 1 Idea Sheet for objects to use to make 2D and 3D shapes, and 9 teacher answer sheets*

PLEASE NOTE: Two K.G.5. worksheets involve students needing to use objects provided by the teacher in order to create 2D and 3D shapes. A list has been included of things you could use. Students physically creating 2D and 3D shapes is an essential part to meeting the K.G.5 standard, hence its inclusion.

K.G.6. Compose simple shapes to form larger shapes. For example, “Can you join these two triangles with full sides touching to make a rectangle?” *20 pages | 10 student worksheet pages and 10 teacher answer sheets*

Each worksheet includes the common core standard listed in the bottom right corner for easy access. These can be used as assessment sheets, revision sheets, or teaching sheets.
