What educators are saying

In our grade level, we do Traditions and Cultures Around the World instead of just Holidays. I have loved using these resources to enhance that! My kids love it and learn so much from them!
This was a great resource to use to introduce my students to Japan. It paired well with books that I read aloud to my students about Japan and Japanese culture. It was a hit on our school's World Diversity Day!

Description

This slideshow helps elementary students quickly learn about famous landmarks, food, art, and the culture of Japan. You can use this slideshow at the beginning of a unit on Japan. You can also print it out and use it as a book for student research. This slideshow also has 4 questions at the end of the slideshow to review what students have learned.

This download comes as a PDF file and is NOT editable as a PDF. However, you can open this slideshow in the TPT EASEL program and add or delete pages and add your own content. I have made a free EASEL activity for your students to use where they can answer questions, circle or highlight things, and write about what they have learned. That is included with this download.

This slideshow includes:

things you might see in Japan- cherry blossoms, pagodas, rickshaws, kabuki theatre
