TEACHERS LIKE YOU SAID…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Victoria R. said, “My students LOVED this daily writing warm-up! I used this either at the start of writing to get our gears moving or at the beginning of the day for morning work. This is cool because after a while students get better and better with this daily practice. They are excited to read them aloud to each other and share their writing this way.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ April A. said, “I used this resource as morning work. My students loved learning about what each day celebrated. It was great for whole group conversations and pushed my non- writers to write. Each day was different and all writing topics were engaging.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3rd in Room 18 said, “My students love this! It has completely changed their attitude towards daily writing. They can't wait to see what day it is. We use Friday as a Revise and Edit day where they pick one of their quick writes from the week and turn it into a longer piece, in a final draft format.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mason G. said, “I like having my students complete a writing prompt each day to get their creative juices flowing. This resource has been great because it still allows students a choice of what they will write about while also giving them options of what kind of writing they will be doing (lists, letters, fictional stories, opinion writing, etc.). My 4th graders typically do better with this since they are more experienced writers, but my 3rd graders still enjoy getting to see what is special about each day.”
