What educators are saying

These work great for all different kinds of student assignments and presentations-- and they save time. Thank you.
Thank you so much for putting this together. I didn't know how much I'd use them, but I'm using them a lot!

Description

Simply put: Jamboards are awesome! The 20 Jamboard templates included here can be used for a myriad of reasons from checking in with students’ mental health to responding to reading to analyzing characters and outlining an essay.

These Jamboard templates are set up as background images that were created outside of Jamboard. Students can interact with the templates by using the features on Jamboard: adding text, using the pen / marker / paintbrush, adding sticky notes, etc.

Essentially, these templates provide an organizational platform for students to use in order to organize their information. Some of these templates work better when used by the entire class at the same time while others are better fit for individual use.

The choice board options simply introduce students to ten book club options that can be completed by students either in groups or as individual projects using a range of technology from Jamboard to Google Slides to Google Docs to Canva.com .

If you find that you need to make a change to a template, you can simply overwrite the existing text by using the text box feature on Jamboard to enter the new text and then using the shape feature to put a solid color behind the new text. This way, you can tailor these templates to fit your needs.

These Jamboards can be used throughout the school year and will help you with activities and formal / informal assessment in ELA.

To use a specific template, simply click on the link included in the pdf document, and it will ask you to make a copy. This copy will be added to your own, personal Google Drive. You can then assign out the Jamboard to your students via Google Classroom.
