Description

This lesson plan teaches students that you should do your best each day to show kindness and respect to the people around you. When you show kindness and respect, you fill your own bucket and their bucket. Information on what happens if you are mean or rude to others; you will empty their bucket. Covered in the lesson is what fills a person's bucket, what empties it, and what bucket dipping is. Assessment and 4 activities-including a writing prompt, art project, coloring page and identifying what fills your own bucket and what empties your bucket. Clip art, answer key, printables, no prep needed. Distance learning appropriate.

Activity of Writing as many ideas, "on and in" the bucket, that you can think of that will fill someone's bucket. Combines writing in and on the bucket and coloring and decorating the bucket.

Activity- Write about a time when you had an important talk with someone. Did it "fill your bucket or empty your bucket?"

Activity of "Circle the words that "fill your bucket," and circle the words that "empty your bucket."

Optional classroom activity to be used at the teachers discretion
