Description

UPDATE: Unfortunately, I do need to update this activity. I have just discovered that Plimoth's You Are The Historian WebQuest has been updated, and the content does appear to have changed.

This interactive scavenger hunt activity aligns with the Plimoth Plantation site, https://www.plimoth.org/learn/just-kids/thanksgiving-interactive-you-are-historian, and allows students to explore the site independently or with a partner, answering the questions as they find answers.

In order to encourage students to explore all areas, questions are not in the order of the text on the site. With younger students, this may be best as a whole class activity, but in my middle school classroom I've normally set up pairs of students for this. They compete to see which group can find the most correct answers and I provide a small reward for winning partner groups immediately after Thanksgiving break.
