Description

If you are looking for one of the most incredible projects ever, look no further! Students will plan, design, and build a life-size prototype that solves a real-world problem! This Invention Convention project comes complete with rubric, judging sheet, parent consent/agreement form, and detailed instructions (all of which are editable!). This project usually takes the students about two to four months to work on, so it will be an adventure that will not soon be forgotten! (If time is a factor, your instructions can be modified for a shorter period of time.) My students (and parents) Love this project. I have it set up so that students complete 100% of the assignment at home, but you can tweak that to fit your class's needs. The Invention Convention is in a league all its own! (Note: I do a three-year rotation of Living Wax Museum, Invention Convention, and MythBusters - all of which are now available on our TpT Store. In addition, we also sell an Amazing Roller Coasters project as well!).

The designed PDF can be enjoyed the way it is, but a straightforward editable word doc is included as well.
