Introduction to Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare

This weeklong lesson focused on introducing William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar as a historical figure, and the play can be printed, used digitally, or a combination of the two. The resource includes a print ready PDF as well as Google Drive versions (Docs, Slides, Forms, etc.) of all of the materials.

Students will read about the history of the English language and William Shakespeare's life, learn about the tragedy cycle and the characters and setting in Julius Caesar, and participate in a discussion about the tragedy's themes, plus engage in high interest activities to reinforce key concepts.
