Introduction to Coding – The Basics Starter Pack includes a variety of coding basics for beginners or students with very little coding experience. The Basics will teach students to “think” like a computer programmer with an assortment of activities from unplugged activities and digital activities, group activities, partner activities, and online coding activities. This starter pack will supplement any beginner coding program and includes a suggested introduction to coding site.
Students will learn the basic programming vocabulary as well as hands-on activities to introduce algorithms, if statements, if then else statements, debugging, and beginner coding (free website). Includes coding exit ticket, 7 coding classroom posters, and a coding quiz. All but the decoding activities are editable.
