Introduction to Christianity Unit 4 ELL ESL ESOL Religion Bible Teens Jesus

A stand alone, no prep unit. This 3-4 week unit will introduce the learner to the Biblical prophecies of Jesus Christ. They will learn about the life of Christ including His birth, teachings, miracles, death and resurrection. Students will examine the connection Jesus made to the laws and promises of the Old Testament. Students will categorize the different of opinions held by the various audiences of and participants in Christ’s ministry. 
 
The purpose of this class is to introduce English language learners to the basic tenets and practices of the Christian faith in a non-confrontational and culturally sensitive manner. The class will be taught entirely in English. Students will practice reading, writing, listening to and speaking in English.
