Description
This is an intro that covers all the basics for teaching the DSLR camera for digital photography! It's also perfect for photography, yearbook, comm tech, and media arts classes.
This can be a daunting task to teach since there's so much to learn, but this makes it easier for students to understand if you cover it section by section. I split it up between a few days.

Included in this comprehensive presentation is:
- Analog VS digital
- Parts of the camera: inside
- How the inside works - EXPOSURE/ISO/SHUTTER/APERTURE (depth of field)

- Modes, the different parts of the outside of the camera
- Tips for how to actually take the photograph
I find breaking it down this way - working from the inside of the camera to the outside - really helps students make connections. Plus it makes it easy to just cover one section per period, so it's not overwhelming.
There's loads of visual examples to help them out throughout the presentation too!
This is always such a scary part of teaching digital photography, but this gets them making connections and understanding the fundamentals of the camera parts and functions.
