    Description

This bundle includes 6 step by step, discussion driven, no-prep lessons over Domain and Range with an Intro to Functions. These notes are a great way to spark conversations about real world applications for notating quantitative data to your students. Students and teachers love how easy these notes are to follow and understand.

As with any lesson in the classroom, these lessons are all about the delivery.  Pause and ask about any wonderings, patterns they see or other things that they notice and let those ideas drive your conversations.

    This guided notes bundle includes

    1. Identifying Properties of Functions Guided Notes and Practice
    2. Function Notation Guided Notes and Practice
    3. Continuous Vs. Discrete Guided Notes and Practice
    4. Domain and Range From Graphs Guided Notes and Practice
    5. Domain and Range from Word Problems Guided Notes and Practice
    6. Association Vs. Causation Guided Notes and Practice

In this bundle, you can download the individual PDFs for each lesson listed out. I also include a PDF with all the bundled notes & keys in one document as a bonus.  In each packet I have included the Texas issued formula chart for Algebra 1.  The KEY portion of this packet begins on page 16. I also include a few blank pages inserted in the back.   I typically use this space for quick writes and warm ups.

These notes are a great resource for students to refer back to.  I have had students who came back years later to tell me they took their notes packet with them to college, because they helped them so much.

These notes are great for in class or distance learning! They include clear instruction, key words & vocabulary, and a variety of examples. They are easy to turn into videos.

    These guided notes align well with TEKS A.2A, A.4B, A.6A, A.12 A and A.12B.

Understand that a function from one set (called the domain) to another set (called the range) assigns to each element of the domain exactly one element of the range. If 𝘧 is a function and 𝘹 is an element of its domain, then 𝘧(𝘹) denotes the output of 𝘧 corresponding to the input 𝘹. The graph of 𝘧 is the graph of the equation 𝘺 = 𝘧(𝘹).
Use function notation, evaluate functions for inputs in their domains, and interpret statements that use function notation in terms of a context.
