Interwar Leader Dinner Party Project
- Google Slides™
Description
In this project, students put their political and historical knowledge to the test! They research and fill out Character Cards and decide where around a Dinner Table they would sit for the optimal dining experience. World Leaders would all want to leave the table...alive! So students need to make very careful choices. No, Gandhi should not sit next to anyone from his imperializer country, Britain. Or maybe your student will argue that since Gandhi practiced non violent protest that he would enjoy the opportunity to solve issues over a meal. All is fair game! Your students should be able to know that Fascists probably shouldn't sit near other democratically elected leaders, etc. This activity will allow them to practice diplomacy and think critically about their choices. They also have to explain, in writing, their decisions.
