Fly them high! This kit includes 40 flags are perfect to highlight the instruments of the orchestra and brighten up any classroom! The flags come in multiple sizes and are available both colored or in ink-friendly black and white. You could print them in color and hang them on the wall as a permanent fixture in your classroom or maybe bring them out one week at a time to highlight each musical family on its own.
I've also included smaller ink-friendly flags so that students can color in both the instruments and the border. Let students color in one family per lesson or have students color the instruments and then categorize/match all the instruments by coloring the outside border the same for each family. Or give one uncolored flag to each student and let them color it in any way they want to create a beautiful and colorful display that the whole class can enjoy! You could even leave this as a sub plan or center activity. There are so many options!
