Description

I always hear my students singing the song, "What Does the Fox Say" and I thought I'd change the lyrics to make it about inherited traits--I call it-"Who do you look like?" This song is full of inherited traits and the students already know the tune and all the extra 'odd' noises.

This includes the lyrics and a place where you can find music. (See below also).

This would be a great song to make a video of the students singing. They could even hold up a picture of their family or mom/dad when they sing the part, "Who do you look like?" You could easily include movements to go with it...for example pointing to the different features when it is being sung (hair type, eye color, height, etc.) Be creative-let your students be creative and come up with motions.
