Informative-Explanatory Writing Lessons (gradual release model) Common Core

Included are five different Informative-Explanatory writing prompts. These lessons will help your students find success in writing informative paragraphs, letters and essays.

These lessons are designed so that you follow the gradual release of responsibility model. Each lesson can be used, with that model in mind.

These are fun prompts that students will enjoy sharing their thoughts and ideas about and are all aligned to the common core. The process is a step by step method so that even very young children are sure to find sucess with these writings.
