What educators are saying

One of my most used resources when assessing students for whom standardized language assessments may not be appropriate. An excellent, easy to administer, comprehensive overview of basic language skills.
I like using this assessment as part of my evaluation and for those clients that have difficulty completing a standardized assessment format. It is great for Telehealth assessments as well.

Description

I often have to evaluate students who don’t do well with standardized tests. I wanted to create a tool that I could use to get some data regarding the language skills of students who are not able to demonstrate their skills in a normal testing situation. This tool is informal; therefore, it is NOT standardized. You must use your clinical judgment to decide if the student can or cannot demonstrate each skill. The amount of time it takes to administer this will depend on the student. You may wish to administer some or all of the tasks.
