What educators are saying

Posters themselves have great information and quotes on them! We used them for a beginning of the year research project and I loved hearing my students get excited about people in STEM.
I loved the diversity of the list of Hispanic Mathematicians and used it as a jumping off point for my students to select a mathematician to explore further. They loved it!

Description

This product is an excellent way to include diversity in your STEM classroom. Included is a digital version that is great for presenting to your class to generate discussion around diversity and real world applications in STEM. This also includes a printable version that would be perfect for a bulletin board during Hispanic Heritage Month.

Want to celebrate diversity with your students all year?

All of these Hispanic STEM leaders are also featured in 41 Influential and Diverse People in STEM where you'll find so many more people to highlight throughout the year in your classroom! My students frequently say its their favorite part about my class.

Ideas to use this product in your classroom:

⭐️Bell Ringers

I often showcase a different mathematician each week for the bell ringer. (We call this “Mathematician Mondays”) This is a great opportunity to have students start to talk about the mathematician and how their work has made an impact. It is so important that students see a diverse group of successful people in STEM. It is a terrific way to include diversity in your classroom.

⭐️Bulletin Boards

You can print this resource and use the pages as posters for your bulletin board (I recommend using the no background version for this). This would be great for Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 October 15!!
