Description

Inference Task Cards - What? 3 sets of 24 task cards (72 total cards) included. Making inferences is an important skill for students to learn. An inference is using knowledge and information to come to conclusions. Since an inference is not stated directly in the text, students often have difficulty with this skill. This set comes with inference cards on 3 levels and answer the question, “What”.

Each level has a total of 24 task cards. Level A is for your lowest level students and for introducing inference. The inference questions in Level A are in a multiple choice format and include a visual. Level B is for your intermediate students who have some knowledge of making inferences. Level B is also in a multiple choice format. Level C is for your advanced students and includes inference questions that are not in a multiple choice format. There are a total of 72 task cards in the set. Each reproducible page consists of 2 task cards.

Simply print, laminate and cut in half to make the cards.

Task cards can be used for special needs students including students with autism or for early learners in grades 3-5.

This skill covers CCSS.ELA.Literacy.RL.1
