Description

Need a way to have your students research amazing and creative ways Indigenous People lived sustainably for thousands of years? This project is for you!

First, we read the article and book together and discussed. Then, I provided my students with the graphic organizer to draft what they would like to include in their book. Once the draft was checked over for spelling, grammar, and content, students created their book!

I had them work on this during Native American Heritage Month (November) and had them complete the book in time to take home for Thanksgiving.

I ordered the board book from Amazon, but I also included a link to the company that makes the board books.

My students were incredibly engaged with this project and I hope yours are, too!
