Description

This multi-day lesson designed for the CLU3M1 course in Ontario aims to explain how the development of Canadian legislation has affected Indigenous communities from colonization to the present. This package includes a detailed lesson plan with instructional strategies, curriculum connections, student considerations, explanations for assessments for, as, and of learning, learning goals, success criteria, and more. Included in the package are a pre-lesson student information sheet, two slideshows, an in-class worksheet, a WebQuest graphic organizer, and quiz question/answers for post-lesson assessment. Parts of this lesson can be adapted for CLN4U, CHC2D, or CHC2P.
