Description
This is a great activity to introduce students to Ancient India the civilization of Mohenjo-Daro!
In this activity, students examine 6 artifacts. They need to determine what the artifacts are made of, what they could be used for, and what they might actually be.
My students loved doing this because they wanted to find out what each artifact was. I usually like to leave them hanging at the end of class, and won't give them the answers until the next day.
Also included are many pictures of Mohenjo-Daro to show students how advanced the city was for its time. This can take anywhere from 40 minutes to 90 minutes depending on your class.
