Inca Building Challenge

For each of the units I teach in Ancient History, I like to have the students complete a building challenge. They are presented with an invention from that time period and they have to recreate this invention using the supplies I provide. This teaches critical and reflective thinking, teamwork, and provides a deeper connection to the society being studied.
