Imperialism in Africa Map Coloring Activity US Letter Size

This is a simple coloring activity designed to give the students an overview of the geographical consequences of European imperialism and the Scramble for Africa in the late 19th and early 20th century. The product includes one coloring page depicting Africa in 1914 and a colored reference map (as 2 different color options) showing which areas were colonized by which European powers. You can simply ask your students to color in their map using the colored version as a reference or to use the maps for designing your own activities if a more in-depth study of the topic is required.

The product includes a high quality pdf file with one coloring page and a colored reference map (in 2 different color schemes). Please note that this activitys includes a map key showing which areas of Africa were colonized by which European powers, but the names of individual countries or colonies are not shown.
